HERO RATIONS has faithfully reproduced the D Ration from WWII. Perfect for anyone reenacting, living history, or just plain interested in what our troops are during WWII. We've painstakingly researched and copied rations based on exact ingredients and packaging using original components for the look and design. The professionally printed box is die cut and press printed like originals, NOT inkjet or laser jet printer on cardstock, folding interior flaps, correct like original, wax dipped and sealed, with correct D Bar inside cellophane. Made exact to the original WWII recipe - our chocolate D Ration holds up under warm conditions, breaks by hand just like originals, in a faithfully reproduced cardboard container and even has that “gritty” texture. Made to order using real chocolate cocoa fat, course oat flour, powdered skim milk, vanilla and sugar using a double boiler and 3-D printed mold copying the original specifications. Box printing may vary but will be correct and wax coated just like the originals.
