Since 2020, Hero Rations has specialized in creating the most authentic reproduction World War II and Cold War era rations available today. Our products are meticulously crafted to replicate the look, feel, and content of original wartime rations, making them ideal for collectors, reenactors, and history enthusiasts. Each ration is made to be historically accurate, using original reference materials, photographs, and documentation to ensure precise replication. From the packaging design to the labels and the contents themselves, Hero Rations strives to deliver a truly immersive experience using over 240 different products and ingredients sourced from all over the world.

We go to great lengths to source or recreate the food items that would have been included in period rations, such as canned goods, biscuits, candy, and beverages. All of the consumable items are fully edible and made and packaged to GMP food safety standards. Many of the contents are also reusable, like sturdy metal cans and containers, adding practicality and sustainability to their appeal, especially for reenactors and living historians. Hero Rations blends historical accuracy with quality and reusability, providing a genuine taste of history in every ration we produce.

Our fully edible reproduction Vietnam LRP rations are finally here!

Using original unused LRP bags, with fully edible contents inside and reusable packaging. The freeze dried entree, coffee sachets, creamer sachet, cocoa powder sachet, spoon pouch are all refillable and reusable without sacrificing authenticity, using resealable foil lined craft sachets. With a few items from the store you can refill and reuse this kit over and over again.

Our kit is based on an original Chicken and Rice LRP in our collection. It’s includes the chicken and rice freeze dried entree inside, cocoa beverage powder, spoon, match book, toilet issue, two coffee type I sachets, creamer sachet, sugar, gum and enriched chocolate disc. 

Best of all, refill items are also available.
