Hero Rations is so excited that to bring the very best WWII and Korean War fully edible, reusable reproduction Rations. This is the “crown jewel” of our ration offerings – the full day’s Korean War Ration, Individual, Combat (RIC)! The RIC was the most common ration issued during the Korean War and went through a number of changes from 1946-1950s. This is the most common version, which includes the large outer carton, three B Units, three M Units, fruit can, three spoons in divider and large accessory packet full of goodies. And our reproductions are FULLY EDIBLE with HISTORICALLY ACCURATE CONTENTS AND REUSABLE and REFILLABLE packaging designs in most cases!

Contents: Outer carton: Just like originals the kraft outer carton features reverse tuck lids, flaps and correct stamping. Three B Units – The three B Units, B-1, B-2, B-3 feature the CORRECT SIZE 300x308 cans with reusable designs! No more pop-top cans, or incorrectly sized cans like our competitors. The lid simply pops on and off. The cans are correctly OD lacquered, with exposed seam, three-piece design and lithographing right to the can – no decals or stickers here! Inside are the correct contents – laminate foil pouches for coffee and soluble milk, sugar sachet, compressed cocoa beverage disc, jam tins with blackberry or strawberry jam inside, chocolate discs and glassine separators. Top notch contents!

Three M Units – WOW! This is a first the market! Inside each of the M-Unit cans are pre-made freeze dried and fully cooked entrée items that match the contents of the cans! No more having to do this on your own! Simply add hot water, stir and wait 3-4 minutes and you have a superb hot entrée item! We have Beef Stew, Chicken and Noodles and Beef and Noodles, just like three of the original M Unit varieties! These cans are also OD lacquered, three-piece design with reusable tops and lithograph stamping on top. The inside of these cans are bare, no lining or solder so they are food-safe right in the can. The outer can lacquer is durable enough to add the hot water, so no need to heat the cans over flame and ruin the finish.

Accessory packet – inside the foil lined accessory packet are historically accurate reproduced contents – two soluble coffee packets, two soluble milk packets, two sugar sachets, toilet paper, three packs of gum (Topps or Wrigley’s PK), two books of matches, confection (Lifesavers or Sweet Chocolate Bars), water purification tablet bottle with label (empty) and two large foil lined sachets of soup mix. Simply put, this is the best of the best you will find. And with all the food items enclosed you’ll have enough food and variety to last you through several events and meals. And we offer the refill items too!
